Vaida Budrienė, head of communication at the shopping chain “Iki”, said that although traditional vegetables remain the most popular, buyers are also choosing more sophisticated items.

First, the pasta is boiled, then the cucumber is fried in butter. When the cucumber is cooked, season it with salt and pepper. Finally, in the same pan, pour a spoonful of the pasta-cooked water on the cucumber, spaghetti, tomato paste, lemon juice, and cream. Everything is sautéed and served with grated parmesan.
